TEST PATCH - Since it is often hard to know the type or amount of finish on a surface, a small test area should be tested first to determine whether the desired results will be achieved.

Surface Preparation: Surfaces should be dry. Protect any aluminum surfaces to prevent discoloration. Protect any surfaces not being stripped with plastic and masking tape. To protect vegetation (grass and/or plants), wet down with water and cover with plastic. Rinse vegetation thoroughly immediately after use.
Application and Removal:

(i) Stir or shake container before using. Do not dilute; Use at full strength. For best results, apply at temperatures between 50ºF and 80ºF. Do not apply in direct sunlight, if possible.

(ii)a. For all surfaces (except as in ii (b)) - Apply liberally with a garden type sprayer, roller or synthetic bristle brush. Wait approximately 15 to 30 minutes depending upon the amount of coating and the temperature. Scrub in direction of wood grain and rinse with garden hose at full pressure, OR thoroughly wash off with pressure washer. Do not exceed 1,000 PSI.

(ii)b. For cedar, redwood and other exotics only - Follow the above instructions except instead of waiting 15 to 30 minutes, dwell time is approximately 1-2 hours depending upon the amount of coating and temperature.

(iii) Do not allow stripper to dry on the surface. Keep stripper wet on the surface by occasionally misting with water. If product completely dries, try misting with water or re-apply stripper on top of itself.

(iv) Under temp of 70ºF, some coatings may take longer to soften. Tougher acrylic coatings may also take longer to soften. Very heavy build-up of old finishes may require an additional application.

(v) Surface must be dry prior to re-coating or staining.

Coverage: 100 to 200 square feet per gallon depending on surface conditions.

Disposal: Dispose of in accordance with appropriate state or local agency.

Safety Instructions:
Caution - Surface May Become
Slippery - Proceed Carefully.

Rubber gloves and safety glasses are recommended for eye and skin protection. Avoid eye contact. If eye contact occurs, immediately flush with plenty of water for 15 minutes. Avoid prolonged and repeated contact with skin. If skin contact occurs, wash with soap and water. If spraying is expected use NIOSH approved respirator. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Give 1 or 2 glasses of water and call a physician immediately.
